About OBPAS

The main objective of the project is to streamline the plan approval process in all the planning authorities and to facilitate quick processing of the application and disposal of building plan permissions. The “Online Building Plan Approval System” is mainly focused on the removal of the need for the citizen to visit the department, apply online and would be able to get the development permission certificate anywhere and anytime. The system would be transparent and an effective tool in monitoring and improving the delivery of services.

Scope

Acceptance of the applications electronically like basic entry, proposed building details, site details, document details etc

Forward the application to the internal and external agencies for online clearance (NOC).

Collecting payment of required fees, development charges, deposits, cess etc through payment gateway

Workflow based approval mechanism

Auto-generation of Approvals and permission documentation

A dashboard facility for monitoring pendency

Email/SMS notification: Applicant get an E-mail/SMS notification whether they are ready to download development permission certificate or reason for rejection or updating the details subsequently.
